Barcelona And Madrid Hotels For Art And History
The numerous museums in Madrid and Barcelona reflect the diverse history, landscape and culture of Spain. As one can find mountains, beaches, forests, and castles within one country, so can one see Cubism, Renaissance, medieval, and modern art.
Spain is now associated with low-cost getaways, but these are applicable to the cities as well as the resorts. Barcelona and Madrid hotels are suitable destinations for investigating the diverse art history of this culture, and the cities that fostered it.

Dali is one of Barcelona’s most famous artists. There are plenty of museums devoted to the artist, showing his astounding influence on modern art. Barcelona hotels and state buildings echo Antoni Gaudi – an architect who has quickly become synonymous with this city, with his own Sagrada Familia attracting millions of tourists every year.
Tours under the Museu d’Historia de la Cuitat give an profound insight into the city’s Roman beginnings. To get incredible views of the city, hike up to the star-shaped Castell de Montjuic, atop Barcelona’s most famous mountain.
Barcelona’s football club also has a museum, dating back 100 years.
